Manila Clams are indigenous to the North Western Pacific (Russia/Northern Asia), but are now primarily grown in the cold, clean waters of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska for US distribution. Our Manilas are raft-grown and harvested, so there's no need to purge these guys before cooking because they were never living in the sand and mud. We distribute out of our facility in Seattle.
